It's All About Friends

It's All About Friends image: For some kids, making friends comes easy.  It's as if they were born knowing all the rules.  For others, it can be a lot harder. Like most subjects, however, there is a lot about friendship that you can learn from someone who has more experience - an adult you trust or an older teen, for example.  You can even take a class in how to think about thinking about friendship.  Check it out!



ARCH:  Offering a Continuum of Services


Parents and teachers often ask "What kind of group does my child - or my student - need for the development of social skills?"  With a growing awareness of the needs of the ASD community, professionals now offer a range of options.  Ideally, a young person with ASD will take advantage of a range of opportunities to both learn about and practice social skills and social thinking.
